Liza Carter (Principal)
Liza studied with Paddy and Susan Hurlings in Portsmouth. She started her teaching career working part time at Victoria School Of Dance and at Emjay School of Dance. Liza also worked free lance across the South, as well as in Portugal, coaching children and teachers. Liza has choreographed for many local shows and her students have won Janet Cram and Star Tap Awards. She enjoys training students to become qualified teachers and many of her ex students have made a professional career in dance.

Sam Cox
Sam (ex-Emjay School of Dance pupil) studied at London Studio Centre. She is currently studying for her professional certificate in teaching, she already has achieved her first year in this qualification.
Sam teaches: Baby Bops class on a Friday.
Donna Cox
Donna (ex-Emjay School of Dance pupil) studied at Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts. She has a diploma in performance. Donna has many choreographed pieces, which have won several awards through the southern region.
Donna teaches: Body Conditioning, Jazz, Modern and uses her talent to choreograph a lot of the festival dances at Emjay School of Dance.
Holly Driscoll
Holly (ex-Emjay School of Dance pupil) studied at Doreen Bird College of performing arts where she graduated with a diploma in performance.
Holly teaches: Street Jazz, sessional teaching at Emjay School of Dance and mainly choreographs for festivals, shows and competitions.
Sam Moss
Sam (another ex-Emjay School of Dance pupil) trained in Musical Theatre Performance at Millennium Dance 2000 before gaining a First Class Honours degree in Dance Science at Middlesex University. It was there she trained in the various styles of Contemporary dance including the techniques of Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham and Doris Humphrey. She has taught at Brockenhurst College as a guest teacher before gaining a post at Salisbury College as the Module Leader for the BTEC National Diplomas in Performing Arts and Sport Science and the NVQ in Exercise to Music Instructors course.
